| Chamber of Commerce Arts Award This was the winning entry of the United Arts Council of Raleigh's 1992 competition for an annual award, given to businesses who support the arts. Nearly 30 awards have been given since the inception of the honor. The imagery in the concept of a business support of the arts award is that to support is to champion, to endorse, to foster. In such substantiation honor is given to both the supporter and the supported, and hence, seemingly divergent visions are merged. Ann Cowperthwaite, Eidolon Designs "Paladin": an eminent champion of a cause Bronze, 9" (h) x 4 1/2" (w) x 4 1/2" (d) |
